Is it me being an old fart or are cars today so bland and boring, they all look the same. The older ones had charm, style and class, something that nowadays has been CADed away.

My current car is going nowhere. Audi SQ5 Plus Special Edition. (Moonlight Blue)
Not sure it is my dream car, but it was chosen very carefully to fulfil all of my needs.
Quite, comfortable and does 40+ MPG and 4 wheel drive.
Has every factory extra i need, and is big enough to have presence, yet not a tank.
It has a split personality though.
Engage the "fun" button and it changes everything.
Exhaust changes from church mouse into roaring lion. I can even select from 6 different levels.
The rest of the car adapts the same.
You have to mentally prepare for it, as things in the distance can arrive way faster than you think possible.
Standard 340 BHP with 700nm of torque means effortless progress. But it is being mapped to 415 BHP with 800+ Nm next month. It's having the gearbox mapped as well.
It's not about the power though, the rolling road map is supposed to release the car's factory restrictions and is supposed to be so much better to drive.
I think it is the best all round car available.

Suspension is very crude although I believe the parts are very reasonable. Not the quickest either especially uphill which could be described as mundane. Be careful if you need to transport your golf clubs as storage is on the meagre side.
