Most good players want to win things but they're nearly all mercenaries at the top level. In case you hadn't noticed, very few stay with the same club for all their career. Rooney went and Rodwell, Coleman & Barkley will go as well when the money calls from a bigger club.

Well the lads showed plenty of 'spirit' yesterday by going toe to toe with a team who's only ambition was to kick City off the park. They fought hard and stuck together as a unit. David Silva was fearless under the assault he endured from numerous opposition players and showed real determination to eventually win his battles.
I'm really proud of the team this morning after they showed that they have the bottle to mix it when needed, and still produce some beautiful football that cuts the opposition in two.
