You want Mancini out by Monday?

Patience is a virtue.

Do those people who booed the substitutiin of Tevez and chanted Bellamy's name really think that doing so is the best way to encourage the team and support their club?

Unbelievable!

Yes. Because I support the club not the manager and the one we have is destroying the club I love. He and the owners need to know.

The list goes on...
There is alot of better managers out there, you do realise managers can move clubs any time? Anyone is available.
Also, Van Gaal, Pellegrini (sp?), Mourinho and Jol.

Anyone is NOT available, dear oh dear.

It's not the Argos catalogue.

It's the same with players. You have to find the right individual, and he has to want it. They have careers, families, feelings, personal ambitions and preferences. Sometimes people like the job they have and want to see it through.

Does anyone really believe Mourinho is going to walk out on Real after 3 months, when he has the chance of winning a second consecutive Champions League trophy?

Why would Van Gaal leave one of the most prestigious, priviledged jobs in football, a job where he is hugely succesful and settled? For a few dollars more?

That's the sort of thinking that does bother me. Money can't just buy who you want. Otherwise we would have had Mourinho this time last year. QED.

Pellegrini just got the Malaga job. He's not rated that highly, I'm afraid.

Hiddink screwed us when we tried to replace Hughes, his agent went public whilst MH was still in the job. What else do you expect from a man who has extremely close ties with Abramovich?

Redknapp is faltering at Spurs, has made numerous derisory comments about the heirachy and owners here, has a court case pending.

Klopp? Whatever, he's done next to nothing at Boroussia. 12 good games and he's the best out there? I suppose we should have hired Phil Brown when Hull made their miracle start to the premiership.

Just what effect do you think it had on the team? With 10 minutes to go they should have been roared on , not given a sneak preview of the critcism to come. That is perhaps why we never seem to score late winners or equalisers, by that time the crowd is inevitably well and truly on the players backs - and that is not the way to support your club, no matter which way you look at it.

And you think we have him at the moment? Serious question.

You're quoting me out of context.

I'm talking about the process of finding a new manager, not evaluating your current one.

All the club needs this year is to finish fourth, and he looks odds on to do it. He works well with the Directors. He plays a sometimes boring, but widely recognised to be effective, form of football, based on many of the same principles that all top European clubs use. He's a safe pair of hands.

He'll do fine for now. His suitability to lead an assault on the English League will become clear in the next few months, one way or another.
