And you think we have him at the moment? Serious question.

You're quoting me out of context.

I'm talking about the process of finding a new manager, not evaluating your current one.

All the club needs this year is to finish fourth, and he looks odds on to do it. He works well with the Directors. He plays a sometimes boring, but widely recognised to be effective, form of football, based on many of the same principles that all top European clubs use. He's a safe pair of hands.

He'll do fine for now. His suitability to lead an assault on the English League will become clear in the next few months, one way or another.

"He works well with the Directors".

Well, not according to Prestwich Blue. He reckons they are already making plans to replace him.

And he should know...

the only thing mancini lovers can say is "well whats changing another manager going to do?" and "look at what he has won in italy"

well, just look at spurs the other year. ramos (who won shit loads abroad ala mancini) nearly took them down, the board knew that they made a mistake and then swiftly replaced him with Redknapp. A GREAT move.

changing managers isnt going to be a bad thing here, having mancini here for the long term will be. and if it does set us back several yearss, then so fucking be it. Ive waited my whole lifetime for us to be a real force, several more years wont kill me

We're 4th in the league.

-- Sun Nov 14, 2010 12:59 am --

Yes. Because I support the club not the manager and the one we have is destroying the club I love. He and the owners need to know.

Destroying the club?

Hilarious.

And we will improve. I expected a tough game today after the Derby, and that's what we got. Getting athe first goal against Birmingham with a tired team, missing strikers was not going to be easy.

Are you suggesting he's lying?

Or just making it up?

Maybe he's been given the heads up again that Mourinho's coming... he could be? Couldn't he?
