Watched him whenever Wolves were on last season and the best thing I can say about him was that he was never injured and always just there on the pitch.

I was very surprised that we signed him.

Lewis can easily do what he does in midfield.

He’ll be reet, once he’s been fully Pepped..!

Juries still out on Nunes and Kovacic, but we were neat and tidy enough.

He shows some quality and I think he'll be fine when he settles. More worried about how Kovacic's form seems to have dropped off a cliff since he was out. Started the season well but seems to have regressed somewhat.

Gotta think the pitch and then it pissing down through us off our rhythm a bit there to be honest. Thought both Nunes and Kovacic were extremely sloppy at times and put us under unnecessary pressure but we got there in the end. Rodri amazing again, Jack worked hard and Rico great as well. Don’t forget no Stones, Walker, Foden, Gvardiol or Bernardo in the starting lineup either. Another day closer to KDB coming back as well

All that mattered was the win and no injuries and we got both. Except for the goal
against I thought Rico played well but Grealish was our best player. Disappointed with Kovacic and Nunes I think. Nunes is such a frustrating player. Has so much natural ability but really careless at times.

He comes across really well, doesn't he? A credit to his parents, and the way they've raised him.

Dodgy pitch, ball really skidded and bounced up "un-naturally" quickly and higher than usual, looked pretty hard to deal with at times.

Not a great watch, more frustrating than bad. Thought we played OK, missed too many chances but still scored 3. Great away win in the Chumps League, so I'll take that.

Job done. Should have had it done much sooner but it's a minor thing. Pitch had a big impact on that game, all our technical agility players struggled getting the points and no injuries was all that mattered. One more and were done until feb.
