Police were absolute cunts last night! Stood by and watched their fans launch all sorts, set off fireworks and smoke bombs,held aloft and done fuck all! One of ours wrongly launched something straight back at them, and 4 of the twats marched in to 111 and physically manhandled him straight out!

Anybody else thoroughly unimpressed with that European — or maybe I should say Germanic? — style of supporting your club? Saw it again last night, didn't we.
It's just got nothing whatsoever to do with what's going on out on the pitch. I much prefer support that's organically linked to what's actually happening. It fades, it comes again stronger. Like waves.
That way of chanting that the commentators were ecstatic about has just got a sort of Nuremberg Rallies feel to it, to me. The way they were dressed, too! Football support choreographed by Leni Riefenstahl…

So you’d deny the lesser teams the opportunity to play against some of the best?
Would you have thought that when City were one of the ‘poorer”' teams and fighting to ‘sit at the big table?

Quali is done. Were top. That's two games for Bobb and other kids to get some experience and give our big boys a nice little break. We might even play Carson against Leipzig.

Not sure about that, one league of 36, top 8 quality for the knockouts, 9 - 24 play off to get to the knockouts, bottom 12 drop out, no Europa safety net.

Teams seeded, 9 x Seed 1,2,3 and 4, every team plays 2 matches from each group but only play any club once, either home or away so I think there will be less dead rubbers but we’ll see.
