The flare set off by an 1894 member who ran off and a guy picked it up and threw it?

Hope the 1894 fella gets banned as well......wanker he was!
I didn't see tbh, first I saw of it was it being launched over my head onto the pitch. Whoever it was has just ensured city get a substantial fine from uefa because of it so they deserve everything they get.

Stewards said no flags were allowed and confiscated an Oman flag off students after they received racist abuse, however the abusers and stewards had no idea were the flag was from.

I have never seen middle aged men and women get so riled up by a flag without knowing what it was when asked.

Had five live on on the way back to Chesterfield and they were going on about how great the young boys fans were. I don't think the young City fans in 111 found that to be the case, or the older guy with blood all over his face who had been struck by something. I thought they were weird cunts tbqh

Haaland‘s penalty kick is very impressive , not sure about the digits but he takes them really really well every time .His second goal was just a regular thunderbastard andy carrol could only dream when he is not sober.

Anyone got eddie’s best map?
He hits them with his heel which concerns me!

Shouldn’t be critical, but there’s a few out there that have had a brilliant opportunity to really impress but fell short.
Nunes, every game I’ve seen him has had real chances to shine but just doesn’t grasp the chance.
Jack needs to up his performance.
One great pass for Phil but the rest of the time his passing was ill paced behind players or so easily read.
Kovacic looks like he has it all, except pace a pass and a shot.
Rico, I really like, he does grasp his chance, but still lacking that final correct decision.

In fairness, that game was too easy against a team who just wanted to kick us and get off the pitch as quickly as possible. It’s hard for the concentration levels to be maintained at times.

All the same some beautiful football at times, without the final icing on the cake. It was like a practice match.
totally agree on Kov and Nunes.

Not much to take from that. They were just a really poor side that can't compete with a team as good as ours. Hard to judge anybody when we're so superior to the opposition. Complete walk in the park, just about getting it done which we did with ease and getting out injury free which unfortunately we couldn't manage.

losing stones once again Is a huge blow, even moreso when you see the fixtures ahead and what he is likely to miss. him and walker and the two defenders we need available as they're unique, the others are somewhat interchangeable. Akanji pulling out of the lineup too is far from ideal that, could now leave us with just 4 fit defenders with our crazy decision to go intonthe season with just 6 defenders.

Special shout out to gmp's finest who once again stood motionless at the front and watched on as another set of away fans come to the etihad and are allowed to launch absolutely anything they want into the home ends. They do that in leipzig or belgrade or any other country and they get leathered by the local police.

City and the police must be liable for a failure to provide adequate protection, it's every fucking champions league game.

And whoever threw the blue flare on the pitch from our end is a grade A wanker, hope you're found and banned
Yep, I asked a steward why the police are so useless at City and he said they'd liaise with their Swiss counterparts and arrests will probably be made after seeing video footage. Yeah right, fucking bs
