I was at that one as well.

I think Chas and Dave were the support act!

But my first gig was a few months earlier... Edwin Starr and Junior Walker at the Apollo.

A London Punk Band called " Bethnal" at Padgate Teacher Training College. Me and my mate were 15 and we got there about 6:30 and the " Grown up" Students fell about laughing and told us to come back in about 4 hours.

Frankie Goes to Hollywood, Manchester Apollo, 1984. I was only 13 and was dropped off outside the front door by my friend's dad who waited outside for us until it finished.

I think Belouis Some (remember that one-hit wonder with his mucky 'Imagination' video?) was the support act...
