Joe Mercer
Malcolm Allison
Roberto Mancini
Pep Guardiola

A hypothetical ‘Rushmore’ monument should be for managers not players in my opinion.

Mount Rushmore is a hideous blot on the landscape when you think about it isn’t it.

An awful thing that only the yanks or some communist dictator would think is a good idea.

I can’t think why anyone would want to go and see it.

Colin Bell, Yaya Toure, Sergio Aguero, Kevin De Bruyne

Colin was the King. Yaya broke the drought. Sergio broke the rags. Kevin is the King.

I’ve given myself a headache trying to come up with an answer and it really depends on the criteria you are using to judge it, which I can’t decide either.

KDB is in. That’s all I can decide.

De Bruyne is the greatest of the lot, he was the easiest to choose.

Doherty was our biggest pre-WW2 legend
Trautmann is arguably our biggest ever legend
Bell was held as our greatest ever player for decades
De Bruyne has surpassed all before him.
My Dad used to rave over the four of them. In his view Doherty was the best player he ever watched.
