Your favourite City crisis?

Football, boxing, all-in wrestling and horse of the year show in one afternoon.

I took my neighbours son for his first time.....loved it and became hooked, now a season ticket holder.
I remember it vividly. I was a 10/11 year old stood on the new Platt Lane for an eternity waiting for the pitch to clear.

I’m not surprised he was hooked.

What about his complete fuck up on the 1999 Playoff Final sales which had thousands of Blues (me included) queuing for 15 hours + at the Ticket Office and them having to work until 2 in the morning to sort his shambles out
He should’ve been sacked for that alone
I loved that 99 f*ck up.

I was away at uni so I didn't have a season ticket for the first time in 10 years. My sister's boyfriend's family had 4 season tickets. The ticket office forgot to stamp their season tickets so they got to go round again and get another 4 tickets...meaning I could go to Wembley! Cheers guys x

Got to be the Coppell, Hartford and Phil Neal period. Especially listening to Phil Neal's post match interviews. He made Stuart Pearce sound like Einstein

The second hald versus Bournemouth with Ian Bishop strolling around and tearing us to pieces. A season of hard work almost thrown away in 54 minutes.

Hartford was worse, said he didnt want the job full time in the depths of a crisis.
Neal was the only one who wanted the job.

Agree re that crisis period though.
