Your favourite City crisis?

For me it was going into school the day after being relegated to the third tier at Stoke in 98. I was dreading it, being one of very few blues in a school of mainly rags I was used to being targeted, and I knew what was coming.

I approached the school gates, turned the corner and there was a group of about 7 or 8 lads literally stood there waiting for me, chanting "going down" and songs about playing Macclesfield etc. The worse part was they weren't even United fans, they were Stockport County fans, who were now a division above us.

The rags had got bored long before that and some almost even felt sorry for us by this point. That really was as bad as it gets.

City Margetson, Jeff Whitley, Symons, Jobson, Edghill, Jim Whitley, Brannan, Kinkladze, Wiekens, Heaney, Rosler – Subs Dickov(39), Brown(57), Russell(73)

One of the worst and most embarrassing away games in our history and a reasons I simply don't get the hero worship of one G.Kinkladze.

That night he put in a performance that brought shame on our shirt, what a lazy bastard.
I was at that game. Wasn't the HT entertainment a disabled men's game on the pitch ?

I can remember when Pearce was the manager, waking up one Saturday morning and my first thought was "oh shit, I've got to go to watch City". Never had that before or since so I suppose that was the nadir of my support.

Manchester City are well-oiled machine - but it wasn't always so ...'t always so ...

Bernard Halford Passes Away - Manchester FA

Anything involving these two clowns, both brought shame and ridicule to our great club.
The 'beatification' of Bernard tells us what we need to know about the corruption that went on under Swales.....riding on the team coach.....going up to collect the FA Cup.

Fuck me !!
