Your favourite City crisis?

Fantastic thread well done .
I know how Shackleton felt watching us over a dramatic month ....makes his 20 months stranded in the Antarctica look like a cake walk.
But back on Topic Pierce era was shocking

I can still smell them toilets.
Was literally a wall with a trench from end to the other that had obviously just been pick axed from left to right.
Memories.
The ones nearest the Platt Lane were worst. And as you came out and felt hungry the Westlers burgers cart guy was stood next to the tunnel with an enticing whiff of cheap fatty meat and onlons. And if you had one without him spilling Woodbine ash on your burger from his chain smoking gob it was a bonus; )

I remember the, “Send John Bond to the Argentines” protest on the Maine Road forecourt. I thought it was a tad excessive.

My favourite crisis on here was when the leader of the anti supporters club grouping was revealed as the Treasurer or Secretary of a Branch. We all had a good laugh and no harm was done.

My youngest son came home one day, he was only young, and asked for a rag shirt.
That was my greatest crisis.
Mind you I dealt with it like a mature adult. I told him it was his choice who he supported but, I would not take him to a rag match, ever. His older brother on the other hand, a blue, would be coming with me to every home game.
That helped him realise the error of his ways.
A year later we got Alan Bastard Ball as a manager, that was another crisis.

That's the ones I was on about, just to the right of the last stairs.
