Your favourite ever City away game?

god - loads over the years, although don't get to go away much these days with the nippers - and I've never been to a european away game (obvs waiting for the chumps league final) - when you start think about it there are so many different memories that it's difficult to choose "the best".

FA Cup win. First time I've ever seen us win anything real. (I started going in the 75-76 season but didn't go to the LCFinal.)

My mum was close to death in hospital and I really struggled to go. "Abide with me" completely finished me off, I wept like a baby. Bruce Forsyth on the row behind in club wembley lightened the mood and seeing us lift a trophy was something I never thought I'd live to see - let alone my mum!

Thankfully she hung on for a few days and watched the game from her hospital bed - I was able to share that with her when I got home (not the bed, wierdos), albeit she was a bit bonkers on almost dead drugs and was convinced that the beautiful Mrs This! and I had eloped to London to get married on a barge on the Thames (very specifically Richmond, for some reason!)

Forgot one, Spurs away fa cup 4 3, lovely to win there at the best of times, so hard afterwards to try not to smile at the Spurs fans after the game who were so fucking pissed off

There's been a few that have a special place in my heart. The scum at Wembley if that counts. Schalke was amazing and I'll never forget the feeling of walking towards the camp nou.

However my stand out favourite away day is Norwich 6-1. Spent an entire weekend down there drinking. Missed out on £50 for a correct score because the nonce scored in the last minutes. Nearly won the national and ended up shagging the barmaid that night.

Lovely sunny day and a fantastic away following. Same day as the Strangeways riot!
Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm sure that game was the first time I'd heard us sing Blue Moon. Those were the days when I never missed a game home or away.

Certainly remember it being sung there but I think it had been going before then, but could be wrong.
