Your favourite ever City away game?

Newcastle 2-0 in 2012 by a mile, the 6-1, Blackburn in 2000, Schalke, Copenhagen, Hamburg, Munich anniversary all deserve honourable mentions though.

I'll probably think of more as the morning goes on

QPR in the cup in about 1992/3. Had a big allocation and a great closeely packed stadium. Took over the local pub beforehand. White and Vonk sent us through 2-1 in a great cup tie.

In no particular order:
The 1-6 at the swamp
Denis Law's backheel at the swamp
Everton in 81 (Paul Power's lob)
Blackburn 2000
Forest 3-1 when Goater scored twice (I think under Royle)
Leeds in the Cup 78 (our biggest away following?)
Also loved Sven's first game at West Ham (It was a glimpse of the future and we have never looked back since)

Seville last year in the home end surrounded by fellow blues.

Bradford 4 2 win, 87-88 first away win for about 18 months.

Rags 1-3 1967/68, spurs same season, Newcastle 3-4 one of the the best. Leicester 0-1 cup Nelly all maroon strip, climbed over the wall for that one. West Brom final, got a job clearing straw off the pitch for free entry. Gillingham anyone, my lad saying can we go ? No ,you're a City fan, learn to suffer. Still rags in semi tops the lot for me.
Beat me to it. The away following was incredible at all 3.
Denis's back heel in 1974. Hard to walk out of the shithole without a smile on my face.
And all the modern ones (except York!)

I'll agree with many on here: The two 6-1 wins in 11-12, the 2-0 at Newcastle before the QPR game, the 5-1 and semi at Villa Park, the Denis Law goal at the swamp and the 2-1 in the 50th anniversary game. Blackburn, and the two Wembley games in 2011.
But how about a shout for Wolves in 2012? The rags were five points ahead in the morning and would virtually guarantee the title by beating Everton. As we approached Wolverhampton the rags were 4-2 up and it looked over, but Everton scored a couple as we were parking and we were six points behind with a game in hand.
That win got us within 3 points and beating the rags put us top on goal difference.
Just remember that phrase "goal difference" when you want to shut up shop rather than going for another goal late in the game. It got us the title in 2012 and 4th place last season.

Blackburn and Schalke right up there but for me West Ham away first game of Sven's reign. The start of a different Manchester City.

That was such a wonderful day. Fell in love with football again.

Favourite game I was at is probably the one at Everton in 2013/4.

We needed to win that to stay in pole position in the title race, with just two very winnable home games to go after that. Barkley scored to put them 1 up, then Sergio equalised and went off injured a few minutes later. Just before half-time Edin got a second from a header that just didn't look on and the atmosphere was incredible in the City end, even singing through half-time. Edin got another early in the second half after a great Joe Hart save (for the benefit of our younger fans, that's where the goalie stops the ball from going in the net) and they pulled one back with about 25 minutes left. The last quarter of the game was so tense but we hung on and the scenes at the end were just incredible. We went top on goal difference then the dippers screwed up at Palace on the Monday night and we were home free.
