Easily.
He had a turn of pace, brilliant first touch, vision and he knew where the goal was.

He needed looking after and all he got was a gang of spongers leading him astray.

imagine an english midfielder who could tackle like pearce, run with the ball like giggs, pass like gerrard and shoot like scholes. well gascoigne wasn't that player but he was fucking good.
