Your favourite programme when you were a kid?

Not really a favorite but one of the BBC2 trade test transmission films called Giuseppina about a petrol station in Italy always sticks in my mind.

I must have had Chicken Pox or something that kept me off school, but I remember that film. I've not seen it for 50 years or so, and the stereotypes are amusing.

As you say, not a favourite, but something I remember as well that has stuck in my mind.

Thank you for the trip back in time.

In answer to Magicpole from Wednesday, the price of my first pint was one shilling and twopence (about 6p in metric). So beer has gone up about 55-fold, cheaper though in Wetherspoons.

Never mind going out on the piss all day, having a fish supper and then a taxi home for under a fiver. You could have done it for £2.

If only earnings had gone up 55 fold. :)
