Manchester schools cross country winner and represented Greater Manchester at all English schools cross country and athletics. Won a few 10k's at under 18.

Scored goals for fun from 8yrs to 16yrs before snapping all the ligaments in my knee.

That old chestnut too small, oh to have been born in 80's Spain.

Yeah got beat in the final off of Liverpools academy playing under a different name, use to play up front with our very own Meppen-Walter, (claim to fame!).<br /><br />-- Sun Nov 25, 2012 2:10 am --<br /><br />As for my best moments, either being crowned Rochdale Schools 400m champion twice (Year 7&10) or my hat trick last year in the college cup quarter final we were 2-1 down until I scored 3 in the last 5 minutes, or scoring 2 goals in a cup final on Accrington Stanleys pitch a couple of years ago to win the game 4-3.
 
playin for my under 12s team. played a final under the lights at a semi pro ground in urmston, biggest moment of my life. manager decides to drop (had been playing great all season, he just hated me step dad) threw me on last ten minutes, bagged a screamer from 25 yards didnt i! to this day i get emotional about me running over to the 72 people in the only stand and sliding on my knees.
 
started swinton high in year 8 and was the only city fan in PE. was only about 5'0" and was last one picked. everyone was saying the ol' 'shitty city' towards the football pitch and every other lad had a scum shirt on with one team wearing bibs (mine) because i had a city shirt on. Ball came to me at half way line and i belted it top left hand corner past the schools goaly. (will admit that the wind may have helped but no-one knew) Everyone was just dumb founded and i had it in my head that i was representing city haha.

1-0 with 5 minutes to go and we got a corner, ball came just out of the box and i got an overhead kick this time, cross bar and in.

PE teacher was a red and put me in net every game after that until year 11. utter wanker.

You would not have heard of me mate. Was just a guess as its unusual to have a course that starts with a par 3 and ends with a par 5.
 
Went to the State Final Track Meet two years in a row for Triple Jump. Finished 5th my senior year. Still hold our school record in triple jump 15years on.
 
I was quite a decent footballer, signed for Ross County as a youngster. Despite being a Caley Thistle fan that was probably my finest moment. Scored a hat trick from midfield against our school rivals, including a last minute winner. Seems pretty funny now but at the time i felt like god !

Could have been two par 4's and he just has a ridiculous drive.

Very true, I just assumed if it was on a par 4 he would have mentioned it in his op as an eagle on a par 4 is much more noteworthy than one on a par 5.
