Your Football Manager Seasons?

anyone on here ever taken charge of a national team?
i was wales on 2009 and it was pretty fun but got boring when nothing was happening.
 
I've never really got into it. Took Italy to the World Cup once, in Italy, and bombed then resigned straight after haha. Got offered the France and Holland jobs straight after but turned them down. That's in my long-term game with Napoli.
 
My current Benfica team:

GK: Akinfeev, Adler
Defence: Sakho, Peixoto, David Luiz, Naldo, Sidnei, Diego Renan, Bale
Midfield: Javi Garcia, Hernanes, Ramires, Afellay, Alexis Sanchez, Di Maria
Forwards: Neymar, Dzeko, Gomes, Saviola, Cardozo

Got some other fringe players that aren't worth mentioning! Anyone suggest where I should strenghten my team?
 
Dependsing on the system you play i'd probably have another midfielder or 2? Tend to go for 3 keepers, 8 defenders, 8 midfielders, 4 strikers, plus youth and maybe a couple of less good, but very versatile players.

I just bought Dalton and Ozil so I reckon this season should be decent! Going to have a good crack at the chumps league!
 
i started off with blackpool finished 5th in my 1st season then got sacked after a bd start to the 2nd season

now with darlington - ot them promoted from bsp in first season i am no 10th in L2 but iom only 15 games in !

started with droylsden in blue square north. half way through season one point behind leaders. anyone tell me any players i can get on loan from the big boys or any decent freebies?? if you're down there, get gavin holligan in on a free. has the odd bad game but christ he knows where the back of the net is.
 
Anyone done the portuguese league? the top 3 are level on points, I am 3rd but I have a better goal difference than 2nd, we have also won the same amount of games, drawn the same, lost the same, and I even have a better GF amount! Does it go off something else?

5. At the end of the season, positions are decided in this order- points, head to head record, goal difference, goals scored
