i've started one as newcastle and am about 26 games in and 3 points clear at the top.

beaten spurs 2-1 in the league cup quarter final before being beaten by chelsea in the semis.

beat birmingham in the fa cup 2-0 but got knocked out by west ham.

purchases- matty fryatt- goal machine and a definite buy for the champoinship.
- chris brunt- very solid and a good set piece taker

Don't bring players in in January, kills squad morale.

Also, stick with your system and tell your players you have faith in them, and tell your skipper you want a performance from him.

That usually stops the rot.

I have a training set called 'cunts', whenever the team let me down, or start drawing too many games in a row, i train them intensively on everything. When they win, they come off it! It has the desired effect!

I've managed to stop the rot, had a number of the wins on the bounce now including knocking out Bayern Munich to get to the quarters of the CL. Currently top of the prem by one point however Chelsea have a game in hand HOWEVER I still need to play them in four games time, win that and I'll have the prem as I wont fuck up against Spurs, Bolton and someone else... lose and it's gone!!

Got Newcastle promoted first season top of the league with 95 points.

People may think its cheating but what i have done is, i decided to give myself a massive budget so i can put myself in the same shoes as City. I want to see how far i can take them with a bit of dosh so i took over City and bought some player in my reserves for 100 mil and this is my team.

Lost to Chelsea because of twats like Barry, J.Cole and Huddlestone who couldn't get a game so brought the morale down. Holidaying the last three games then I'm going to sell the twats and sign squad players who know they'll be backup
