Your most personally moving moment in sports history (apart from City)

When Shooter McGavin blew a 4 hole lead on the back 9 to give Happy Gilmore the tour championship

just remenbered. the GB track team pursuit going for gold, the cameras on the start line showing the lead opening by inches, the precision of the change-over at the front, had me out of my seat on the final lap, something that rarely happens, especially a sport i dont follow. Stupendous :)

I remember being absolutely blown away by Jonathan Edwards breaking the triple jump record in 1995. Think I was only about 9, but it was incredible tele. Stuck with me vividly since.

Ricky Hatton Vs Kostya Tszyu at the men arena. Hairs on the back of the neck atmosphere for this fight that night.

The 1991 World Athletic Championship 4x400m relay. The Americans always won this race but we somehow managed to beat them with Kris Akabusi passing the 400m champion close to the line. Great stuff!
(Unfortunately the IAAF don’t allow footage to be posted, at least that I can figure).
