Doesn't matter really. When you're young the idea is to have fun before settling down with a proper partner. And, as others have said, if you meet someone later in life then you're likely looking at a couple of divorces, kids from previous marriages, a lot of mistakes and scars, etc. So it all blurs together anyway.
