Your personal lowest point as a City fan

Too many to mention. But, to name a few;

All the relegations
Owen's last minute winner in the 4-3
Scholes' last minute winning header at COMS (as it was then)
Rooney's last minute winning header in the LC s/f
RVP'S last minute winner at the Etihad (a pattern developing here!)
West Ham beating us in the q/f of the cup at COMS (Dean Ashton with both goals)
Forest in the cup 3 bloody 0
Liverpool beating us to the league by a ppint in 1977
Liverpool beating us in the LC s/f in '81. Alf fucking Grey
The Halifax and Shrewsbury defeats in the late 70s
Ricky fucking Villa
Judas Kendall running back to the wife

I could go on, and on, and on, and on.....

Strangely enough, I forget the lows very quickly. There have been loads and. like most City fans who've been with the club for 30 years plus, I expect to be let down.

With 10 minutes to go against QPR last season, the fella behind me said "City are back" and I, like a few other people who heard it, smiled the same smile that we always had in stock for the inevitable dissapointment.

Low points are not to be remembered. 5-1 at Maine Road was the best game I was ever at before QPR. I can remember those points. They were high points.

weetabix head, the carling cup 2nd leg and that fuckin gay cartwheel and camp punch of the corner flag, that split second i was absolutely distraught......
then i suddenly realised that all their celebrations and over celebrations must have meant that all those years of them telling us we mean nothing to them was true!!!

Yep.

Luton relegation was truly gut-wrenching. Nothing has come close. When we dropped to the third at Stoke we were used to despair. I was distraught and it took six months to get over. I know it's sad but it gave me great pleasure when Luton fell out of the league. Even now whenever I hear the kerb-crawler on the radio it gives me a shudder.

Fowler's Penalty with the final kick of the season for Europe..........

Not a low point in real terms but I went from 50,000 feet back to my seat in seconds........

May 2003 - last game at Maine Road !!

Unless you mean the youth cup game, you must be talking the last league game at Maine Road which I agree was a real sad day

The actual last game at the ground was lost too.......... another pisser as there was a decent turnout
