Politics will become more polarised, the far right are on the march and parties like Reform etc will garner votes from those people who are scared by dinghies. The RW media will run a full on fear campaign and increase their focus on stuff like "woke" "trans" blah blah blah, they will outrage the little Englander vote who wants our our country to be like it was in 1845 or something.The Tories will have too take that on board and move further right themselves, because the Tory party has always existed to make sure the owners of capital have the biggest say in how we are governed.
The left is already polarised because the Labour party hates Socialists and many on the left will not vote for Starmer because he is an establishment stooge who is as capitalist as any tory.
The much needed move to PR will not happen because whoever is in power with a minority of the vote will not be interested in it.to
Trump will be elected and as scary as that sounds he will not be as bad as people fear, he will stand up to world threats, but those threats may come back to haunt him. China could invade Taiwan, North Korea could go nuclear, Iran may go nuts and we have no figures on the world stage to stop it.
Putin is still being Putin, the EU without an army is toothless, the UN cant even bring Israel to see sense and stop killing kids. The houthis are holding the west to ransom, its just the start.
I was stood outside my local yesterday having a smoke and a young girl walked past with two lovely young boys, my thoughts were I am so happy to have grown up in a time of relative peace, I think they may not.
