Im 20, and would have this exact list, apart from swapping elano for dickov. Considering Micah still plays for us its hard to term him legend till he doesnt, but the fact hes been playing for a fair portion of my city supporting life and turned out to be as good as he is now gets him in there[/quote

Elano in any list is so ludicrous it's scary. But I suppose it is just somebody's opinion.

better than Benarbia and Berkovic, it was between him and Petrov for that spot as we hadnt really had anyone who could get us of your seat with a pass, shaun had great speed but his final ball was abit off, whereas in that little period of 2007 Elano was one of the better players in the Prem, and he made me think we could have a star here, obviously it wasnt to be but I enjoyed him, so for me yeah he is a little bit of a legend, and the title says "Yout Top 5 City Legends" ;)

So you think that Ella and Petrov were better than Ali B. Like everyone, your entitled to your opinion but I'd be suprised if you got a lot of support of anyone who'd seen all three play.

Ali B joined us 3 years too late, let's not forget he played the most games for us in div 2 (championship) when he tried the Premier league it was a step too far.

Big Joe Corrigan
Paul Power
Dennis Tueart
Willie Donachie
Tony Book

the players that I look back upon, (so current team omitted) and loved at the time were:

Allen
Walsh
Kinky
Ali
Elano

Not the best, often not for long, and some with serious downsides, but these are the ones I loved

Benarbia
Morrison
Horlock
Goater
Sun Jihai

All 100 per cent made for City.

Sun Jihai's a particular favourite, he was once defined beautifully as 'endearingly inept'. His name even became a gentle profanity in our house, we loved him that much.
