Your worst City memory

all the relagations equally
'81 cup final
notts county away in the cup
huddersfield away defeat, a year after beating them 10-1 at home
york away

theres probably many more but these stand out for me. :(

Being a little bit older than most on here. (Well a lot older ) I remember Alex Dawson punching in a goal at Maine Road which effectivly relegated us. Shrewsbury town at Gay Meadow lost 3-1. Losing 2-0 at molineux against Everton and getting expelled the next day at school for wagging it for the game. (OK I wagged it for a lot of away games, but it is City we are talking about).
Still the good times far out weigh the bad times ? Don't they ?

There's quite a few.
David Pleat running on the pitch after they got a result at Maine Road wasn't one of my better memories.
Also playing for the draw versus Liverpool and then finding out we needed a win to stay up is another.

I'm amazed, given the senitment on the boards at the moment, none of you wags has said "getting MH as manager!".

For me, undoubtedly Luton, 1983. First and only time I've cried at City.

All the above.....so many unhappy memories. What it is to be a blue.

Mine? Wembley '99 with about 87 minutes gone. Never felt so low at a City game (or so high).

Halifax 1 City 0 springs to mind . Not a good day. Would never be played nowadays by the way, it was that muddy.

But the worst personally was losing to Bury at home - in the league! Just playing them was bad enough, to lose at home to them was a nightmare for me, being from Bury etc...

Thinking about it though there's been alot to rival even that over the years.
