Your worst footballing moment?

Car crash just off Swan St after a home loss during the Pearce season. Maybe 1-0 to Wigan? Not fun.

Football wise definitely Luton relegation..... absolutely gutted , a ‘typical City’ moment.

Crowd trouble wise it’s a toss up between these 3.
1. Bricks , rocks , bottles etc raining into the enclosure behind the stand at Leeds , whilst the cops locked us in there.
2. A wrong place , wrong time , wrong accent kicking in the wrong end at Bramhall Lane. Luckily then escorted into our end.
3. Literally getting chased from Lime St. station ( after arriving on a service train, with about 50 other blues I guess from memory) by 100 plus Evertonians all the way to Goodison. It’s good job somebody knew the way and also that I was only about 16 so I could run.

Those were the days.

Other than relegations and them rag *unts beating us, or cup finals, the 'ordinary' game that stands out above most others is the 0-3 against Forest at home in the cup shortly after we were taken over. Never have I seen such an abysmal and abject performance as that day. Hughes should of been sacked on the spot after that horrendous showing. I sat in my seat until about 15 mins after final whistle absolutely numb. A steward asked me to leave in the end. I was gutted for data after that one.

Going to see us get tonked by Blackburn away and then coming home on the coach to hear on the radio that football fans had died at Hillsborough and the death toll kept on going up with every new update. We just all sat in silence thinking that could have been us and in the grand scheme of things getting battered by Blackburn didn’t really matter.
