Relegation in 1983 really upset me,as a 21 year old had never seen us go down at that time,then 1987,1996,1998 made it a regular event,and became used to it,in a way.
The defeat at Old Trafford in 2010 league cup semi final was so frustrating as we were so close to a Wembley final.

That was so shit. Dean Ashton schooling our defence. Blackburn away under Pearce was very similar. False dawns.

So many. One that stands out was clapping SWP off the pitch at Tranmere pre season knowing we couldn't hold on to him and he was off to Chelsea. Our only player that gave us any hope, followed by that awful season with ten home league goals
