Ok You are the Ref.... (my lad asked me this last night)... A keeper is taking a goal kick, as he runs up he slips and mis-kicks and the ball trickles into an empty net... Is it a goal, retaken (as the ball hasn't gone out of the area) or a free-kick to the opposition ???

Genuinely don't know the answer...

corner ball. also you can not score an own goal strait from your free kick

First reply was correct. Its just a corner. Same goes for own goals from Free kicks.

Retake the goal kick, assuming the ball never left the penalty area, so it was never in play.
