By that logic we might as well kick Pep out considering the fact that there are allegations in Spain that he avoided paying taxes, I mean he hasn't been proven guilty, I doubt if he would ever be guilty and I doubt if there's even a case there, its basically just another anti-city propaganda but hey, the magic allegation word was used and well you know the rules, right? One allegation and you are out. So what do you say? do we kick him out or are we all "wired wrong"?
youve had a mare here mate. Double back and try again.

haha

Its a silly analogy I know but sometimes you need a silly analogy to show just how silly it is to blindly make or support certain decisions.

Look, chances are that Spurs have some info we don't and that nothing will come of the investigation. But surely you can see why we wouldn't want to take the risk, particularly with Benjamin Mendy still in court?

It's just the sensible thing to do.

True and I completely agree with you.

Going back to my initial post you would notice when I said avoiding signing players all because of some unproven allegations might really put clubs in a difficult situation in regards to signing players, lets face it footballers are dumb and can get themselves into serious criminal situations but in todays world we also know that some allegations have been proven false (Like the Neymar situation).

My initial post was basically saying it would be wise to hold off on passing judgement on a player until that player has been proven guilty and then some other poster tried to make it seem like I was being too lenient.

This is more proof that football fans dont really care about the players they sign aslong as they are good. If another top 6 club had signed him they would be calling it a disgrace. They took banners to games calling Alonso a murderer, so they clearly dont mind judging other teams players.

This is still an allegation, Alonso's car accident case has been proven, he was drunk, had a car accident that lead to the death of a person.

Not condoning the action of fans who call Alonso a murder but there's some difference. Now if Bissouma's allegations are proven then by all means the wolves can have a go at him but until then. Innocent until proven guilty.

Correct. See the racism incident involving Cucurella
