Zaba makes the PFA Team of the Year

De Gea deserves to be in it, Ferdinand doesn't though.

I thought Clichy should have too. Baines is good, sometimes excellent; Gaël plays at a high standard every single week.

I think Dawson has had a better season than Vortonghen and I think Oscar has been better than Hazard too.
 
Anyone remember Maicon slaughtering Vertonghen?
Only one game I suppose.

As for Ferdinand, even Phil Neville said he destabilises Rags defence on MOTD :)

Vortonghen spent half the season dribbling up field and losing the ball then having Dawson have to cover his irresponsible arse. He's stopped doing it recently, but it was something that happened two or three times a game up until abor Chistmas.

I do actually rate Vertonghen, but team of the year?

To be fair to Ferdinand, he's had his best season for about five years. He has been good.

De Gea has had a good 2nd half to the season, but started poorly.

I'd have had Mignolet, or Begovic ahead of De Gea

Ferdinand's inclusion is ridiculous. He's missed even more games than Kompany and is nowhere near as good
 
well deserved despite the media hype regarding rafael. Zab is a rare breed these days willing to put his body on the line for the cause nice his fellow pros have recognised how good he has been this season
