Zabaleta has 'agreed to join West Ham'

When he returns next season, he will get the greatest standing ovation that The Etihad will ever see from now until the end of time.
 
Gutted about this, still had a lot to offer our squad and should have been transitioned from that to the coaching staff. A great full back and a fucking superb leader and role model. Leaders are not something we have in abundance

Not possible with the wage regulations I'd guess. And he would still be pulling in a pretty decent wage from West Ham.
 
Great managers have no sentiment and know when to let players go Zaba has been brilliant but this season is a season to much .get him a role at the club no problem but no new contract as a player and that goes for a few others as well.Zaba will always be remembered at City as one of our all time favorites
 
I'll be very disappointed to see Zabba go. Absolutely amazed he's not being fast-tracked into coaching for us. We've obviously got too many leaders, and 100% professionals who you would want in the trenches with you, at the club already!
 
If true, a sad day. But not totally surprising. We all know he isn't the player of three or four years ago; age is catching up on him. But what a servant he has been to us. He really seemed to buy into what the club was about, and what the club meant to us, the great unwashed. He is my favourite player sine the takeover, without a doubt. And yes, I know; he was here before Sheikhy Bossman rolled up (wasn't Zab the last pre-takeover signing? Or was that Vinny?). All the best Pablo. You'll never be forgotten.
