Zabaleta or Sagna?

I would give Zaba a bit more time before considering playing Sagna ahead.

Some fans need to check out the word loyalty, this is a man who has bought into the whole City thing, taking in youth team games, accent bordering on manc and at the first sign of a dip in form, you want him out of the team and to be replaced by Sagna a free signing who knows no loyalty to anybody but his wallet, a player who in the past has slated City for being rich etc but more importantly has played only one good game in a City shirt since he signed.

fucking disgusting if you ask me, which you didn't but there you go.

Fuck loyalty dude. We should play the best team. And if Zaba is as Manc as you claim, even he would understand.

If it's really all about loyalty, we might as well put you in a shirt lace you in boots and play you in place of Silva. Surely we all know you bleed bluer that David.

Where is the eyeroll emoticon :(

At the moment Pable needs support in the defensive area. He gets it when Navas plays, he didn't get it tonight until MP moved Jimmy.

As much as Sagna played well defensively last time he was selected I much prefer Zabba.

If Zabz was actually doing anything going forward, I could understand that as an argument.

At the moment, he is a liability. He could do with a week's holiday.

Maffeo might have been a good option but it's too late now for this season.
Against Stoke he created a chance for Fernando with his burst forward and great cross, had a hand in Milners goal and found himself further forward more often than he has recently. Overall he was far more effective than he has been this last month or so.
Last night was more defensively where he struggled, allowing himself to be turned more than he should and conceding crosses to easily.
It's definitely been a tough season for him but I'd keep faith.

It's no surprise that Zab and Kompany, 2 of the best defenders in the league, are looking average for much of this season. There is zero defensive structure in place in this team, Pellegrini just can't do it. Even when Fernando plays he seems to get forward as much as Fernandinho and Toure.
