You'd imagine Pellegrini will sound out Patrick Viera about the readiness or not of pitching Shay Facey or any of the EDS squad straight into the team for Fulham or even a place on the bench. If not I'd go with Boyata.

I'd go with Milner. Clichy could also play there.

Clichy has never been tried there and I wouldn't want to risk that at this stage of the season. Milner is decent stop gap though.

Yes, he has. Bobby Manc played him there once or twice in the 2011/12 season.

Rodwell is an option. Isn't he a defender before he was played in midfield?

I think rodwell should just concentrate on midfield in fairness, shay facey for me or at least a right sided player

No, but we're talking Fulham if Zaba is back for Liverpool.

For the summer I reckon we will upgrade.

I think that Milner will do a great job at right back to the extent that we will not miss Zabs even against Liverpool.

Jimmy is a player that can be trusted 100% and could easily have been a top fullback if he had specialised in that position.

We will miss Zab! He's been in incredible form. Hope it isn't bad, could really do with him for liverpool
