In other news ... ;)Is Kiddo still here - thought the ever reliable @oakiecokie said he was off to OT !
You ignore them haters, mate.In other news ... ;)
6:17 in.Still brings a tear to the eye, and not just of that little lad!
Somewhere warmer...Cheshire maybe?I bumped into Zabba on the train up to the Huddersfield game last year and he mentioned this. I should caution that both he and his wife said they might want to spend time somewhere warmer after his WH contract ended!
Players like him are the heart and soul of our club. In an age of mercenary professionals, he’s a rare signing. Part of the family...and family is what our club is all about. That’s the first time I’ve ever seen that video, I didn’t think I could love Zab any more than I already did. Not really an emotional person at all but to see how much it meant to the young lad and Zab even I had a tear in my eye.
I always say that to my lad before he plays...Always be yourself.... unless you can be Pablo Zabba......
... there isn't a lot of room for sentiment and certainly no room for nepotism.
See Vinny more of a mouthpiece tbh, but agree either wayBe fantastic if Pep could get Zab and maybe Vinny on the coaching staff.
Brian Kidd is 96.
I would rather hope to see Kompany one day on Ferran Soriano’s staff. He has the potential to do very well as an executive. As for Zabaleta, exciting news if true.
Depends on how good he is at coaching - just because we love him as a player and love the way he embraced Manchester - doesn't make him a good coach. If he is a better coach-mentor-manager than someone with no affinity to the club then great - but at the levels we now play at there isn't a lot of room for sentiment and certainly no room for nepotism.
