Zab was one of those signings, a bit like De Jong, that slipped under the radar when all the other "big name" signing were being made. Because of this I think there has been a lot less media and fan pressure which has allowed him to get on with the football.
He can play anywhere on the pitch and plays with total commitment each and every game. This alone is one of the many reasons why he has played more games than nearly anyone else since he joined us.
I, for one, think he's agruably our best player and plays like we like city palyers to play - getting stuck in and not giving an inch. He'll always pick up booking but I'd rather he did that than ponce about.

I admit a big weakness in his game can be a tendency to lunge in too often and give away needless freekicks but his positional play is 10x better than Micahs.

Exactly this...solid squad player nothing more...can play a bunch of positions and is good on either foot...however he seems to pick up a card in every game he plays (people think only micah makes reckless tackles, watch zabba). I do agree though, he is an asset in our squad.

For me Zab is one of those "unsung heroes" that every team needs.
He would anything for the team and have you ever heard of him complain about the Club and how he`s been treated,unlike some mouthy tossers who go and spit their dummy out ?
OK he`s never going to be in the first eleven,but he`s worth his weight in gold as a great sub,who won`t let you down.
Top man and quality guy to have around.
