Zab's Tackle Last Night

The 'oooooh' from the crowd was pretty funny, de Jong did a similar one recently though I can't remember who it was against. I like Zab, he's a good footballer but he needs to be careful with some of the challenges he makes and stop being so rash

I like him Fat, but he is one of the least intelligent footballers around.
Loses concentration too easy and has to quit the schoolboy tackling.

Anyone see when Zabs got booked and Tev gave him an earfull?? he looked pretty pissed off with Zabs
he wasnt happy was he.we need a team with 11 captains.

It was a silly foul by Zab against Lpool that cost us a goal.He needs to sort it out,he could have cost us a goal again last night.

more to the point mancini didn t like it either, he does it almost every week and i dont think this manager will put up with it

He's getting a bit of a Paul Scholes reputation - it just makes me laugh at this point because it's expected every game. It's hard to channel that madness though without losing the that edge which makes him the player he is.

I do like the fact though that we have several players who can mix it when things get ugly. It will stand us in good stead.

After he got booked at one point he was running from the edge of the box looking likehe was going to fly in as he has done previousely, then he stopped.

Maybe he is starting to realise that once booked he needs to be careful

Zab's crossing is immense, I've not seen anyone cross like him really. He seems to be able to just float them in and find the man in space. His cross to Barry against Stoke, to Tevez last night, there was another to Barry against Sunderland?, and I think he crossed for Lescott to head to Toure once.

Sweet cross to Benjani in an away game last year for a header (can't remember who we were playing but I think we drew). He's a good footballer and very comfortable on the ball, just needs to be careful when he dives in

Yes I did see Tevez bollock him and yes it was notable from there on in that he was told to stay on his feet. As onceabluealways says, there was a ball to be won and if he wasn't on a yellow he would have flown in from it, good job he didnt!
