Zinchenko apologies for wife’s criticism of Pep

Why is anyone arsed what Zinchenko or his wife said ? He's a squad player. Fills in for FA Cup and Carabao Cup games if he's lucky. Currently about our 4th choice left back. If he's unhappy then ask to be sold. Maybe he's trying to force a move? Won't be missed.

I understand fans being pissed off with Pep for the Lyon defeat, but to side with a contracted players wife coming out and slagging him off, which has already brought the rabid press pack out to write more negative articles, is, well, it’s a bit weird to say the least.

It had nothing to do with Zinchenko or his wife but on somebody suggesting that they thought Pep was blaming the players in the press conference.

Nothing much really, just people saying that YAYA would have been hung out to dry for this but Zinchenko is being supported.

As far as Zinchenko's wife is concerned, she spoke like a fan, tactics on the day left many perplexed. However, Zinchenko should have totally kept himself away from this not just for his chances but for the sake of professionalism.

If Zinchenko wasn't involved club might not have taken action but by sharing his pearls of wisdom, he has closed the door on his city career
