Anyway im tired to argue with English/Brittish fans about Ibra!

But City is no where near the stage! were our fans can be so deluded we dont want ibra in our team! its sad. based on quality alone.

Ive watched him in the champs league, especially against prem teams and he gets knocked off the ball so easily.

and he is unproven as far as the prem goes...just cause he has scored in other leagues doesnt mean he will do here...schevchenko is a perfect example of this.

I guess we will have to wait and see and if we get him i hope i am proved wrong

actually rammy im not
im really happy with the possible signings of yaya and silva (if we get them) and i thikn the addition of boetang is a really good one as well

and i was really pleased with the majority of our transfer dealings last summer as well.

I just dont get immediately excited because a big name superstar may come to city....especially one i dont rate at all......like i said time will tell and Id be VERY HAPPY to be proved wrong...

if it was eto'o or torres id be doing cartwheels around my room....now thee two are world class!!!

Actually I am out of work at the moment but trying not to be too glum about it Simon - SO please do not try and cheer me down about it!
 
Me too dude, I'm self employed but no work for the last two weeks and looking like nothing again this week. Just wish these world cup games would liven up a bit!

lol, ok today aside it's been gash! One Germany game and the argies the other night maybe but 85% of them have been dull and poor don't you agree?

i thought cameroon v denmark was a good game myself. one of the best of the cup uptil today.

should start to warm up in the knock out stages, but tend to agree with you, we could be in for a really good season at City this time
 
By some quirk of fate - had to fly to Stockholm yesterday. Gonna be here for the rest of the week. People here seem to think Ibra's gonna stay at Barca...then again, I think they just don't like the idea of him moving to City. Some guy last night told me that he's so famous here there was talk of putting his face on a banknote last year! Nutty.

Stockholm's amazing btw...

:) Personally, I will be quite happy if he stays at Barca :) I just cannot see him staying there as Villa is going to be the preferred striker. But then Ibra is so arrogant he probably thinks he will be first choice.

...and yes, Stockholm is a gem. Takes a bit of time getting around, but the archipelago is stunning. Most of the city appears to be either waterways or park land. When I used to visit it was a very expensive city
