This signing wont happen unless RvP goes elsewhere

Really cannot see the owners or Mawood sanctioning two mega deals (RvP and Ibra) one who will be 29 next and one who is 31? (i think) with no resale value whose next clubs would be somewhere in China or the MLS

Ibra has to be a back up for RvP or hopefully Cavani
Do you not think RM may want Ibra and RVP to swap for Dzeko and Tevez?

And if he does i hope someone bangs his head - spending North of 100 miilion on two players who for them this is their final mega bucks contract whom have only a few years left at the top is madness

Yes, I agree! Signing the Premier League top scorer and the Serie A top scorer is absolute madness!

And then having to spend another 100 million plus on replacing them in 3 years because one will be 34 and the other 32 is sensible

Short sighted is an understatement

And if there is a different top scorer next season do we buy him?

Like the club and the owners in giving Bobby a 5 year deal then we should be looking to buy players that equally will have some lonevity at the top - RvP yes i can see 29 in August maybe 4 year deal but Ibra get serious

Dzeko was the top goalscorer in the Bundesliga before he came to us, hes 26 had 1 full season, sell him or swap him for one of Zlatan or RVP is daft imo.

Yes. After 4 straight league titles, at least one CL trophy and ten million Ibra jerseys sold.

Crunch those numbers.

Blue Tinted Glasses

Gamble and it goes tits up we are in a mess you make it sound so easy almost as though we won the PL by a country mile and the next 4 PL title are nailed on -andit wont happen with Ibra who will be 35 when we wik the 4th using your logic

The addition of Ibra will not do any of those things - sure it may contribute to a decent run in the CL

To win a CL we need a top top midfield player to partner Yaya and a top top quality Centre Half

Latest is that PSG are reportedly preparing a huge bid for Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva. On the more loose rumours front I read that Abramovich is interested in Zlatan.

You'll have to use google translate, or copy/paste the text into google translate if it doesn't work.

Personally I reckon the PSG stuff is true, but I doubt that that either of Thiago or Zlatan are keen to go there. The Chelsea stuff sounds completely unfounded.

I think Ibra is a good player.

However, not for us and we should continue the ploicy we have of getting players 21 to 25 years old who can grow into the team, rather than change it for a couple of years.

Yes, this thinking applies to RvP too.

agreed. yeah RVP and Ibra would be both good signings respectivly if bought but we have to think about the future. they flop and we have to sell at a knock of price. if they succeed we only get a few years out of them

signing falcao or cavani just makes sense.

sky italia (accoring to my twitter feed) reporting psg have reached agreement with AC for Thiago silva and ibra for 65 million euros

Of course Twatini will conveniently ignore the fact that a French club are driving a fookin bus through FFP. How on earth could they in their 1st CL campaign ever get close to complying?
It´s about time we tested the waters on this. We´re getting rolled over by the other middle east owned clubs and Chavs, whilst we play ball
Fookin total hypocrisy
