I don't care how do I look, I'm not on job interview, hehe.

They are quality strikers but not in the Ibrahimovic's league, lot to do to come there and I don't think at least Cavani will ever come close. Falcao might if he continues playing at such high level in years to come.

I agree with you that Cavani wont come close. However, with Falcao, he still has age on his side. If he can bag a move to Madrid or Chelsea in the summer, then he could easily rack up an even more incredible number of goals in his career.

There's no doubting Zlatan has had the better career, mainly due to the fact that he's older. He's won titles wherever he's played and he's scored goals wherever he's played.

If I was to buy one of the players now though, taking everything into account, it'd be Falcao. Cavani would be the last on my list.

Care to explain why?

Because I think both Falcao & Zlatan are better.

He's playing in the Serie A.
We've been linked with big strikers from Italy (Cavani), England (Suarez), La Liga (Higuain, Falcao, Benzema) and France (Ibra). Serie A and Ligue 1 are the worst of those leagues (that's not to say their bad, just not as good as EPL/La Liga).
If we're going to be spending crazy , money on a striker we should do it from a league that's around the level of the EPL.

As Balotelli has proven, the gap between Serie A and the EPL is getting quite a bit bigger. I'd rather not take the chance on a player who is playing in a lesser league, considering that he'd cost more than Falcao, Cavani, Benzema, Ibra or Higuain.
We don't want a Torres.

I'd buy Falcao over Ibra at right money too. Zlatan is in the age I don't find appropriate for big transfers, it would certainly be the short term improvement but that's not what big transfers should be aimed for.

But I do think that Ibrahimovic is more talented and better player than him too, probably by some margin too though not as big as with Cavani. Ibrahimovic is just one of the most talented and most complete strikers ever.

A unique talent, but unfortunately with a rather c*ntish personality it seems. Like the Milan guy here commented - demands that everything revolves around him. That can clearly be seen in the Swedish national team also, but there he is so much better than everyone else in the team so therefore it works. In our team that would not be the case so it probably wouldn't work so well.

They hardly have a choice with the national team.
He's a world class player playing in a team that without him would be around the 40 area in the FIFA rankings.

You don't understand anything about football, you could even say the austrialian league (do you have one at least?) is better than the italian serie A, haha.

edit: look what Balotelli is doing with the italian national team too.

Oh boy, where to begin.

The idea that Serie A is a "weak" league is absurd. Yeah, it might not be as strong as the top 3, but it still has a lot of really good teams. Look at how Lazio is running riot in the Europa League. Milan had a 2 goal lead over Barca. Juventus is in the final 8 and have a decent chance to win it all. I'll just leave it at that.

Actually, it's Falcao who is not completely proven in my book. Yes, he's been great in La Liga, but he is still a "niche", very traditional striker. He's not very physical. He only has 15 goals in 41 caps for Columbia. We know from Barca and Real that La Liga stats are inflated. He also has problems with his confidence from time to time.

Cavani on the other hand is extremely consistent. Why? Because he has a tireless work rate and can play all over the pitch, as a winger, as a traditional striker, and he can switch at will. Falcao can't.

Since Cavani joined Napoli (a Champions League team) he has scored 95 goals in ~120 appearances. That's an insanely good return in the Serie A.

As for Balotelli, he scored 13 goals in 23 appearances in the Premier League last year, not a bad return is it? He just had a poor season this year because of a bad attitude.

As for Zlatan, I would take him gladly because I think we could get a reasonable price for him if he is unsettled at PSG. He is 31 but he doesn't depend on his foot speed very much. He's big and strong. He always scores. In my opinion he's up there with Messi and Ronaldo, and it's not very often that those types of players are available. So yeah, if we could get a deal on him, I think it makes sense. We could also do a swap, say with Nasri and some cash, or Dzeko and cash.

If we could actually get Zlatan for Nasri + 15ish I wouldn't even blink twice. Ibra is one of the most dominating strikers in the world. He can be a bit of a wild card at times but worth it and some in my opinion
