The opposite is true. Its in their interest to take them all to court. All they need do is register a claim at county court which isnt a lot for them, thats their business model after all. They will win some, they will lose some, and usually they will settle some (most). A CCJ is the worst thing you can have, and they know itThe advice might have changed but the fact remains that it isn’t in their financial interest to pursue cases through the courts. They’ll do the odd one so they can use it for publicity to show it’s possible but you’d have to be incredibly unlucky.
