'Alfie's army' Alder hey protest

Don't know enough about medicine to take a strong view on this, but there are valid medical treatments available abroad that aren't practiced in England, either privately or in the NHS. So the idea that if the NHS can't save him then nobody can may or may not be right in this case, but it's definitely wrong in some cases.

I just hope the police don't publish the route to his ward.

Emotions are high and the parents are desperate so i'm not sure pointing fingers is a good idea, they are not going to burn down the hosp etc as they would kill the boy they want to save,it's a sad situation, the life support was supposed to be turned off today, don't know if it has been, poor little lad

The parents must be besides themselves and they are so young too.
Someone should be telling the mob that there are other babies and parents going through similar and the staff have a duty of care to all

Water cannon the protestors until they fuck off. There are hundreds of very poorly kids in there. Drastic measures needed.

The thread title needs changing - it's bollocks all to do with the content. A bit like calling a thread about American Football 'America'.
