£1k for the latest iPhone

This’ll do, quick search rather than start a thread.

I have this iPhone X. Had it 6 weeks and all my settings are replicated from my previous iPhone 6, yet in the monthly cycle I’ve had it, and two weeks into this one, it’s demolished my 8gig data allowance like if wasn’t even there. EE are clueless why, as am I.

Anyone had the same issue? It used 2.5gig from Tuesday to yesterday, and I hardly used it away from WiFi.

That's very odd. Would you happen to have your mobile hotspot on or something mad like that?

Can you not look at networking menus and see what has hammered your data like you can see whats eating battery life etc?
Have you opened any apps you usually do not use? Have you disabled wifi or switched on some other mode that uses mobile data exclusively?

No, I’m pretty savvy with things like this. Everything is how it was and on the 6 I never went over 5 of my allocated 8 gig. I’ve read some forums and there are similar occurances to mine. The weird thing is the phone settings for data used says 2.5gig since 21/7, when I get my monthly update, where’s my EE account says I’ve used 5gig in the same time span.

Done it all. The app that’s used the most is FB, at 800mb. The rest are pennies really.
I’m thinking the phone is faulty.

Yeah you should be able to look and add them all up.

You’ve not been accidentally hot spotting off it or anything have you whilst watch midget porn? I had that problem before.

Edit: I see Damo already checked.
 
A quick google leads me to people in a similar boat and no answers from EE, also EE counts up and down, iphones only note the download, not sure if that could be something. Since you seem pretty sharp on it i assume you have googled and seen the same as me i.e. no actual answer, i hate it when google fails me.

I might just dig out the 6 and sell this bastard.
