good luck fella, will always remember that goal at Hamburg and the way we celebrated it. ps anyone want to buy last years black top with his name on it?
lol

Sorry to see you go Stevie, every club needs an enigma, and you were certainly that!

'Ireland is (still) Superman, Ireland is (still) Superman
Ireland is (still) Superman, Ireland is (still) Superman'...............

Still, I will wipe away a tear, and smile at our brand new addition to the best team in the land and all the world.......JAMES MILNER!!!

Onwards, and upwards Blues :)

Now I may be being a bit thick here (no change there then says BlueStew) but ............... where does it say that he has definitely gone????

I have looked on the OS and the BBC website but all it states (BBC) is that the club are approaching a deal with Milner. Doesn't say it has been completed. And OS just says Bellamy is going to Cardiff.

So why the premature sadness for Stevie Ireland? I am still hoping that Stevie will stay. Not fussed about Milner at all, especially after reviewing one of their matches last season when he scored an own goal!! I remember the slagging off that Dunnie still gets for his own goals so ..............

Anyway I hope that Stevie stays.

If Villa get a good manager that wants to play positive attacking football we could see Stevie return to his old self. Ireland suffered a dip in form yes but Mancini's negative tactics have not helped. I'm not convinced he'll get the best out of Milner.
