Congratulations City

Congratulations City in the so called Group of death and qualified (which we all hoped but didnt necessarily expect!)

Qualified comfortably, forget tonight we had qualified before tonight (ala Villa last night) .....and before THEY start!

What did you want him to do put out a full team then somebody get injured then start blaming Hughes, for playing a full team when we had already got through or we needed to qualify in first place to get an easier game in the next round, then blame Hughes when the players start against West Brom and look jaded, this way Hughes has no excuse against West Brom.

Final thought what a team of soft arses they were tonight!

Why work hard to qualify for a tournament and then not play your heart out? little but hypocritical aint it? (even if it was through fair play)

Brilliant post Trigger, to qualify top of that group was a tremendous effort! despite what the doomers will have us believe.

we made 7 changes tonight! what do people expect?

i expected better than that...we were really very poor, hope we win on sunday now...no doubt hughes needs it

Why would you expect better with 7 changes? This just highlights to me that people should give Hughes a break because the squad clearly isn't good enough. with the pressure on him for sunday he was spot on to rest players! Ironically the pressure being increased by the very people who are now moaning about tonight! the bloke has no chance of pleasing some.

The same people who have been moaning about Elano not playing, the same Elano who was once again absolute shite tonight and doesn't warrant a place at the moment! The same people who have been saying Ched should be playing who again failed to impress!

The only ywo players to come out of that with any credit were Zabaletta and Big Phil! That is why we are struggling at the moment not because of the manager!

No strength in depth. Nothing new. This will change.

Elano pants yet again.

Would love to hear Hughes reason for starting Robinho then, ridiculous descision.

That's because most fans rate his performance as absolute shite whenever he doesn't score a 30 yard FK and lay on a couple of assists. Most fans are wankers tbf

Because we had already qualified, so it makes more sense to focus on the league game this weekend.
