N Ireland much better data 0 deaths Just 10 new cases (O.15%). But weekly case total is 359.

However, patients in hospital now 9 (-1).

England hospital data 3 deaths. It was 2 last Monday.

BUT only 2 of these 3 occurred recently (as in yesterday - 1 from the North West).

The third death goes all the way back to London on the 3rd of April.

So the data reads:

23 Aug 2 deaths after 1 day.

22 Aug 0 added = 0 after 2 days.

21 Aug 0 added = 3 after 3 days.

20 Aug 0 added = 2 after 4 days (nothing added here for the last three days).

19 Aug 0 added = ZERO after 5 days.

This is a first since the start of the pandenic - obviously.

Wonder if any journalist even notices such a significant milestone and writes about it.

They will almost certainly go with the (misleading) 3 died yesterday headline oblivious to the real story today. The first five day total without a single person dying on that date in an England hospital - something that has been happening now in Scotland for weeks.

So the UK hospital total is 4 - seemingly double last weeks 2. But that very obviously is not really the full story here.

The usual Monday caveat has to be applied (as in weekend catch up tomorrow). But this has not been anywhere near what it once was in impact on numbers.

Last week''s all settings total was 3 (just one atop the 2 UK hospital number). As we are already above that it will likely be higher. Or not....hard to second quess these things these days.

We had 713 cases last Monday. Very low. Seems unlikely that will happen again as it was off the back of just 79 cases from the three other nations so only 634 from England. There are 95 from the other nations this week.

See if the BBC pick up on this. Not holding my breath.
This goes against all of hancocks bullshit, they are proud of ripping up the discharge red tape to get patients out of hosp...sending covid patients to infect care homes
The DNR 's were forced on patients, there was the letter from a gp surgery to patients saying they wouldnt get a hosp bed, same in care homes, this is the biggest scandal in the history of care homes, why is hancock still i a job? He is a shield for boris

Age range of the 66 new confirmed Scottish cases today: 44 in the 20-64 age range, 2 people aged 65-74. Nobody older, leaving 20 cases under the age of 20 with 5 of those in infants aged 0-4.
