Cruise ships

You are in a different city every day If you cant find free wi fi to check facebook in that time then knock yourself out with the cost of wifi on board lol

We never use the onboard wifi, always cheap connections in every port, just look for an Internet cafe next to the port, and it will be full of Crew.

I can imagine myself now, 'how long until the next port' (sweat pouring off me, shaking like a leaf in the wind). No, i would not survive. If someone told me my ftp servers were down and i had bad or no net i would kill everyone on the bastard ship :-D

Seriously though it is a major consideration for many, a ship may lose a sale to another liner just because of bad net or not as good as them net. They would certainly lose mine should a similar ship doing a similar cruise have better net.

Who you kidding? You'd have tapped into the captains personal wifi account in the time it takes to sing "My heart will go onnnnn"

I like boats, who doesn't, and I like holidays, but the idea of merging the two and then being shoe horned from pillar to post, there's Rome, did you see all of it? Tough, get back on board, fills me with dread. That and having to socialise with strangers every night would do my considerable tits in.

I prefer holidays where I set my own agenda rather than being told what and where.

Maybe in 20 or so years the idea might appeal.

If people are that concerned about the quality of the net, I would suggest that maybe a cruise wouldn't be the best holiday.
Maybe a fishing trawler, they have top quality nets

My fucking hero haha. I may meet someone and want to stay at theirs for a night or just stay sat on my arse getting smashed at a bar with a sweet vibe. The idea of someone saying 'come along now' would instantly piss me off.
