Clearly the club have to tread carefully here about legalities.

The Tevez statement about not refusing to come on was the first move from Tevez to avoid some probable legal action if he'd have admitted to refusing to play.

Clearly any discussions with Tevez will now be in the company of his advisors.

Tevez has finally put himself in a position where his behavior is indefensible. Not just to us, who thought it this a long time ago, but legally.

Also, forget Mutu. We would recover more in the long run by selling him as a discount.
