They're all from Bury and most have moved back there. Guy (singer) moved out of the city centre to somewhere near Heaton park. The only exception is Pete the bassist who lives up the road from me in Chorlton.

In terms of musicians who support city I think we're struggling. The gallaghers turn up to wembley and fulham away, badly drawn boy doesn't turn up, jimi Goodwin (doves) cracks on as a city fan but near block 120 there's a poster suing his first game was the mid 90s. Brought up a rag and converted. I don't know about kid British, but he could sit next to me at the ground and I wouldn't know who he was. Any others?

;-) sorry to bump the thread and it's a long story how a google search brought me to this thread from 8 years ago..
I sit in the family stand next to the comfy seats in the Maine stand and many many years ago my m8 pointed out to me some bloke with a beard saying that was Badley drawn boy, was stood next to but not nesassry with Jason manford having a drink on the concourse. I See him there most weeks since then and a lot of times with manford there or there about.
A couple of seasons ago my m8 (you have probly guessed who is the one in to music out of the two of us ) points out a bloke with the beard guy " telling me it's the guy from elbow Hope my m8s got it right as Iv told my little un theres a couple of top Manchester musicians there..

That is a very bold statement to make.
 
I'm sure I read an article somewhere that they're football fans but don't want to divulge who it is that they support.

Either way, top band that I've only got into over the last few years. Wasted my time going to kaiserchief and franz Ferdinand gigs back in the day when they were banging out some quality stuff.

Still better late than never. Going seeing them live in Amsterdam in February.
