Hmmm, those pictures only serve to bolster my thoughts, not belay them!

As for stadia, I was thinking more about making it look like it was MEANT to be three tiers all around, such as Wembley or Emirates. I may be being harsh, considering this is only Phase 1 of 2, but the suspension of the original stadium seemed far more organic, symmetrical, and almost hidden in the ramps.these supports come out of big holes in the side of the stadium, and look like erector set contraptions......to me.

I'm sure it will grow on me, but looks very impressive inside and less so outside in pics.[/QUOTE]

Completely disagree. It looks awesome in person.

Having been to Wembley I can say it looks like a generic office block from the outside. If it wasn't for the arch it would have no personality at all.

The roof supports we have in place are by far superior to the stadium supports found at other modern stadiums. I really dislike the supporting cantilever bridge style roof found at the Emirates and the new stand at Anfield & the less said about Old Trafford the better.

Cable support roofs also look miles better from above for those into stadium porn!

We've often talked about what might be coming to the collar site.

Many of you know that I've talked about VR etc and lots of us see that as a likely element of the developments.

I wasn't so sure about the idea of the two end stands looking different to the side stands, but that does look good.

Now then....
This looks magnificent

But for now I'll stick with my Google Cardboard and the Chair In A Room app - pretty good for £10's worth of kit and a Samsung Galaxy S5 phone ;-)
